Customer Service Officer

About the role

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Customer Service Officer to provide expert internal and external customer service and sales support. The role involves handling complex order discrepancies, supporting the Inside Sales team, and ensuring smooth order‑to‑invoice processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide internal and external customer service and sales support to the Inside Sales team and customer engagements.
• Manage the Order to Invoice process, including order entry, value‑added order entry, and handling various inbound order formats.
• Support sales team with planned demand, quality assurance, and coordinate reports such as e‑Compass and Forecast Response.
• Assist Inside Sales with Quote to Order objectives, including loading quotes, monitoring extensions, and coordinating contract signatures.
• Handle branch service requests, RMA processing, corrective action requests, and post‑delivery issue resolution.

Required profile

• Typically a 2‑year degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a high school graduate with equivalent experience.
• Developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
• Ability to work within established procedures with moderate supervision.

Required skills

• Order entry and maintenance across multiple formats (Excel, PDF, fax).
• Familiarity with NCNC, COP, MyArrow account setup, and PCPRCE 2 system.
• Experience with quote management tools such as Sales Desktop (SDT) and Quote Center.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external customers to resolve discrepancies.
