Strategic Marketing Lead – Applied OLED Business Unit

About the role

Join Applied Materials as a Strategic Marketing Lead for the Applied OLED Business Unit. You will own a portfolio of OLED development programs, guiding them from development through high‑volume manufacturing while aligning with customer roadmaps and business growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined group of OLED programs, establishing clear structure, ownership, review rhythms, risk visibility and follow‑up until closure.
• Develop and maintain program positioning, market fit, and execution plans that align with internal R&D capabilities and long‑term growth targets.
• Prepare and present content for monthly program reviews, strategic reviews and gate packages, consolidating complex material into concise storylines.
• Assess OLED market trends, competition and installed base, translating findings into strategic direction and quantified business opportunities.
• Apply AI tools to automate recurring analytical and reporting tasks, ensuring quality and documenting repeatable workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Business or related field (preferred) with 5‑8 years of experience in program management, product marketing or strategic planning in display, semiconductor or high‑tech capital equipment.
• Proven ability to drive complex, multi‑stakeholder programs to completion and to engage senior management across functions and regions.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the capability to construct and defend quantified business arguments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
