V.I.E – Local Buyer/Expeditor (M/F)

About the role

The V.I.E Local Buyer/Expeditor supports Technip Energies' project in Geoje, South Korea by procuring materials, components and services required for operations, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Search, select and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best conditions and costs.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance, track orders and resolve any delivery issues.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers to obtain updates, verify shipping schedules and mitigate delays.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement needs with project timelines.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and support performance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Eligible for the V.I.E program (French or EU nationality, aged 18‑28).
• Willingness to work onsite in Geoje, South Korea for the full 23‑month assignment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contractual documents.
