Vice President, IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Team Lead)

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Vice President, IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Team Lead) for its Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) team in the MUFG Seoul Branch. The role ensures stable and secure infrastructure operations, supports the Head of Infrastructure and drives the execution and coordination of Regional and Head Office initiatives at branch level, with a focus on delivering infrastructure projects across Head Office, Regional and local levels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the execution of infrastructure initiatives aligned with branch, Regional and Head Office strategies, coordinating with Regional and HQ teams
• Contribute to system and platform improvements with a practical, execution-focused approach
• Manage and control IT budget execution and operational efficiency, identify cost optimization opportunities and minimize the financial impact of system and cyber security incidents
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance, coach team members on complex infrastructure issues and promote a culture of ownership
• Ensure stable system operations, lead incident response and problem management, and support project management and system implementation
• Implement cyber security and IT risk controls and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience managing infrastructure and project management
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong overall IT infrastructure knowledge with project execution and stakeholder coordination skills
• Preferred: broad infrastructure experience, strong technical depth and experience working with Regional/HQ teams
