Software Engineer – AI Agent

About the role

Sierra is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production‑grade AI agents that power customer‑facing experiences for large enterprises and innovative startups. You will own the full Agent Development Life Cycle, from pilot to continuous iteration, while collaborating closely with customers to shape the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship highly performant, reliable AI agents that run in production across finance, healthcare, and commerce domains.
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) end‑to‑end, establishing best practices for building, tuning, and evolving agents.
• Partner directly with enterprise leaders and cutting‑edge startups to understand business challenges and deliver AI‑driven solutions.
• Provide feedback from customer engagements to guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform and prototype new tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong problem‑solving ability in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication in English and Korean, able to interact with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable working directly with customers to translate needs into functional AI agents.
