Site Contract Manager - Innovative Medicine

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division in Seoul is looking for a Site Contract Manager within its R&D Operations, Clinical Trial Project Management area. The role prepares, negotiates and finalizes agreements and budgets for clinical trials, and oversees a Clinical Research Organization responsible for contract negotiations, supporting the clinical team in pricing, planning, execution and control of site and investigator budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and finalize clinical trial agreements and ancillary agreements for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies, either directly with sites or through oversight of a CRO.
• Support negotiations on confidentiality agreements, informed consent forms and other ancillary documents.
• Take part in discussions on site/investigator budgets aligned with fair market value and manage the contract amendment lifecycle.
• Track legal documents and metrics, and support review and authorization of site payments.
• Help ensure investigator grants comply with study costs and compliance guidelines, and respond to QA and auditor requests.
• Recommend process improvements that shorten cycle time and create savings, and work with the global CCS team to review contractual terms and escalate issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline.
• Two years of negotiation and contract experience and a working knowledge of the clinical development process.
• Familiarity with clinical research processes; healthcare compliance guidance such as HIPAA, FCPA and Safe Harbor is a plus.
• Fluent English; 10% travel; hybrid work.
• Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills, ability to work in cross-functional and virtual teams, and a demonstrated AI-enabled mindset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office and database management.
• Project management and clinical trial knowledge.
