Senior Training & Education Specialist, Surgical Robotics

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a senior professional to lead training initiatives for its Surgical Robotics portfolio in the Asia region. You will use your clinical and technical expertise to educate surgeons, OR staff, and field personnel, driving adoption and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate in‑house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
• Create and update training materials, lesson plans, and learning aids using adult‑learning methodologies.
• Maintain communication with customers to ensure training effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Marketing, Business Development, and commercial teams to design competitive‑readiness programs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in a clinical lab, clinical training, field sales/support, or equivalent healthcare roles.
• Strong clinical background with deep understanding of OR environments and surgical workflows.
• Proven ability to train surgeons, first assistants, OR staff, and field teams.
• Willingness to travel across Asia and work non‑traditional hours.
