Senior Technical Presales Specialist (PLM)

About the role

PTC is hiring a PLM Solution Consultant Engineer (pre-sales) in Seoul, South Korea. The role supports customers in accelerating their engineering transformation through PTC's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, working closely with Sales from the early stages of the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer business and technical requirements through discovery activities and workshops
• Present PTC PLM solutions and communicate their value through discovery workshops, executive presentations, solution demonstrations, technical proposals and proof-of-concept activities
• Support RFI/RFP responses and technical proposals, and lead or support Proof of Concept and benchmark activities
• Partner with Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle, identify technical risks early and build trusted customer relationships
• Deliver customer seminars, webinars, conferences and technical presentations, and promote the value of Engineering Transformation
• Share industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to demonstration assets and technical enablement materials
• Keep up with emerging technologies such as AI, Digital Thread and Digital Twin, and continuously improve technical expertise

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in PLM, CAD, ALM or related engineering software industries
• Understanding of manufacturing and product development processes
• Good English communication skills for meetings, presentations and email, and ability to collaborate with global teams
• Preferred: experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting or solution engineering, and in automotive, aerospace and defense or other manufacturing sectors

Required skills

• Preferred: experience with PLM solutions such as PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter or Dassault ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE
• Preferred: experience delivering customer demonstrations, workshops, RFP responses and POC/BMT activities
