Regional Planner

About the role

The Regional Planner at Applied Materials supports strategic development and smooth operation of regional planning activities for semiconductor equipment and services. The role blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans, new processes, tools, data visualisation and systems for planning and operations.
• Collaborate with senior managers, technical SMEs, sales, logistics and field service teams to align planning activities with business requirements.
• Manage demand forecasting, act as planning focal point for field service and customer stakeholders.
• Lead funded projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and provide technical assistance.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to solve complex problems.

Required skills

• Data analysis using Tableau, SQL, Python or Power BI.
• Experience with planning tools and systems for demand forecasting.
