Onsite Operations Project Manager - Seoul
FeverUp · Seoul
Job description
About the role
Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for an Onsite Operations Project Manager in Seoul to support the rollout and day-to-day operation of one of its largest sports partnerships in South Korea. The role covers key operational areas across multiple first-division football clubs, including ticketing, access control and box office operations, and works closely with Venue Managers and freelance operational leads at each stadium.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Fever operations across multiple football stadiums and matchdays, ensuring venues are ready before doors open (ticketing, access control, box office, devices, connectivity, staffing and processes).
- Monitor venue performance and identify issues early, applying operational standards consistently across all stadiums.
- Brief and coordinate Venue Managers and freelance leads, clarify their responsibilities and escalation paths, and support them on problems they cannot solve alone.
- Coordinate junior freelancers and temporary staff through Venue Managers and monitor team performance.
- Act as the first escalation point for venue teams, troubleshooting ticketing, access control, box office and onsite workflow issues and distinguishing local fixes from those needing central support.
- Ensure checklists, SOPs and tools are followed, capture learnings from each matchday and propose improvements to the central operations team.
Required profile
- +4 years of experience in live operations, sports, ticketing, venues, hospitality or another high-volume operational environment.
- Experience coordinating onsite teams or multiple operational stakeholders.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues independently.
- Comfortable supervising experienced people without being their formal line manager.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and confident communication with teams and external partners.
- Comfortable working with operational technology and learning new systems quickly.
- Native Korean and strong professional English.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and travel regularly across South Korea.
What we offer
- Attractive compensation with the potential for a significant bonus for top performance.
- Defined contribution retirement plan managed by Korea Investment & Securities.
- 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences.
- 20 working days as holidays.
- Responsibility from day one and a young, international team.
