Manager, MDP Installation Customer Engineer

About the role

As a Manager, MDP Installation Customer Engineer you will lead a team of customer engineers in the Pyeongtaek district, ensuring strong relationships with clients and successful installation of semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across all levels in the district.
• Manage, coach and direct customer engineers, including salary and career planning.
• Provide formal updates on business, new hires, and product launches.
• Serve as the primary interface with Product Divisions for technical support, training, spares and reliability.
• Monitor and drive the CSD Award and mentor programs.
• Execute escalation procedures and oversee RMA processes.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Engineer on account planning and system sales support.
• Prepare financial forecasts, track cost efficiency and measure district performance.
• Plan, report and execute system installations, including pre‑facility and start‑up meetings.
• Track and verify customer engineer hours and take corrective actions as needed.

• Strong leadership ability to provide direction and administer company policies.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate situations, recommend policy changes and solve problems within defined procedures.
• Effective interpersonal skills for presentations and gaining cooperation from stakeholders.
• Understanding of the impact of decisions on schedules and financial results.
