Korean Language Manager – 12‑month contract

About the role

Canva is looking for a Korean Language Manager to make the product feel truly local for Korean users. In this 12‑month contract you will shape the voice and tone of Canva across product, marketing, and content, ensuring the experience is clear, natural and culturally relevant.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain Korean linguistic assets such as style guides, glossaries and terminology.
• Translate, review, transcreate and adapt key content for product, marketing and other user‑facing surfaces.
• Audit the Korean experience, identify improvement opportunities and provide quality feedback to vendors.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering and localisation partners to support testing, QA and new feature launches.
• Experiment with AI‑assisted localisation workflows and evaluate their quality for Korean.

Required profile

• Native‑level Korean writing ability with strong English communication skills.
• Proven experience in localisation, language management, UX writing or related fields.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and explain linguistic recommendations clearly.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment, handling ambiguity and competing priorities.
