Investment Banker – Global Banking (Seoul)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join UBS’s Global Banking team in Seoul. The role involves developing client relationships, executing M&A and capital‑markets transactions, and contributing innovative ideas that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Expand and deepen existing client relationships across corporate and private‑equity sectors.
• Lead the execution of M&A and capital‑markets transactions, from origination to closing.
• Generate new business ideas and creative approaches to enhance client value.
• Assist in team management, including recruitment, development and retention of talent.
• Make balanced judgments and motivate the team toward shared goals.

Required profile

• Proven track record in executing M&A transactions.
• Ability to partner effectively with coverage and product teams.
• Experience coaching junior bankers and overseeing day‑to‑day deal execution.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of M&A processes and capital‑markets products.
