General Imaging and Primary Care Clinical Applications Leader

About the role

This individual contributor role works with the Global General Imaging Product Management Team at GE HealthCare in Seongnam. It provides global clinical expertise and leadership in shaping ultrasound products and solutions for General Imaging and primary care, working closely with product managers, program teams and cross-functional groups, as well as with customers, to define product strategy and requirements and improve product quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical input to the General Imaging Ultrasound product management, marketing and engineering teams for product development.
• Contribute expertise to clinical marketing and research requests, value propositions and go-to-market programs, and act as a subject matter expert in clinical care areas.
• Support or organize internal scanning and verification and validation activities, and support or organize external evaluations, collecting anonymized image data for engineering investigations.
• Support escalated customer sites and help engineering investigate issues.
• Help develop and share clinical education materials globally, and support regional teams in building clinical and education training.
• Deliver clinical and scientific presentations for global customer seminars and training events, in person or remotely.
• Maintain advisory panel contacts in the clinical community and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
• Comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, QMS and quality goals, complete quality and compliance training on time, and report quality or compliance concerns immediately.
• Take part in defect management, risk mitigation and continuous improvement of process and product quality.

Required profile

• Sonography certification or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in a patient care setting.
• Extensive experience in the medical industry and in medical device development processes.
• Ability to communicate scientific data through talks, posters and papers.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and development centers, including internationally.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is preferred.

• Strong communication and presentation skills and good influencing skills.
• Customer contact experience.
• Basic knowledge of project management.
