Forward Deployed Engineer – Korea

About the role

Normal Computing is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed its AI‑driven EDA platform within one of the world’s largest memory semiconductor companies in Korea. You will adapt the platform to the customer’s data, workflows and design challenges while working closely with account and deployment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve production issues across the system, model, data and workflow in both Normal’s and the customer’s environments.
• Design and run evaluations against real customer workflows to validate generated artifacts.
• Integrate the platform with each business unit’s data, design flows and tooling.
• Translate silicon design constraints into model requirements and feed customer signals back to Normal’s research teams.
• Post‑train models on proprietary data and build continual‑learning loops.
• Make technical decisions, prioritize work and codify successful patterns for future deployments.

Required profile

• Willing and able to work on‑site in Korea for a twelve‑month deployment.
• Deep hardware experience combined with recent hands‑on AI/ML work.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to trace issues across the stack.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, proficient in Python and comfortable with production codebases.
• Experience with modern ML workflows such as prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, evaluation and model deployment.
• Ability to dive into semiconductor design and verification, including UVM testbenches and SystemVerilog.
• Capability to ship ML systems that remain reliable on real‑world data.
• Comfort with ambiguity and occasional travel.
