Culinary Storekeeper

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Culinary Storekeeper, a line staff member who reports to the Chief Butcher. The role covers receiving, inspecting and storing food deliveries in line with HACCP and the hotel's food safety standards. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on all incoming food deliveries.
• Receive, inspect and store food-related deliveries, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Four Seasons' food safety standards.
• Verify temperature, packaging integrity and product freshness.
• Check weights, cuts, grades and product specifications of incoming goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared walk-in fridges, freezers and storeroom.
• Organize and segregate products for delivery to each outlet.

Required profile

• High school graduate.
• Prior experience in a hotel receiving department or high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Receiving clerk experience or formal culinary training highly desirable.
• Valid work authorization in South Korea.
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy items and work in cold or warm environments.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables and specialty products.
• Knowledge of weights, cut, grade and freshness indicators, and purchase order specifications.
• Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and in teams, with good communication skills.
