About the role
Croda, a FTSE‑100 science‑focused company, is expanding its pharma business in South Korea. Reporting to the Head Business Development Manager, Asia, you will lead the identification and conversion of strategic commercial opportunities for Croda’s innovative technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Drive new business and revenue growth in the South Korean pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market.
- Identify, develop and convert strategic commercial opportunities for Croda’s technologies.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and technical teams to build high‑value relationships with key customers.
- Maintain deep market insight, track trends and align activities with Croda’s growth strategy.
- Integrate Croda’s products into customer development pipelines, delivering clear commercial value.
Required profile
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a pharma‑related or scientific discipline (PhD advantageous).
- Minimum 7 years of sales and business development experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Korean pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market, including key players and contacts.
- Resilience, perseverance and a proven track record of winning new business in competitive markets.
- Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
