Boccalino Supervisor - Food and Beverage

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Boccalino Supervisor, a full-time position reporting to the Restaurant Assistant Manager. The role centres on delivering personalised guest experiences and lasting memories, and involves supervising food servers while taking part in the service.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in serving and removing food during operations by offering pre-determined menu selections to each table, knowing their origin, taste and preparation method.
• Communicate guest orders, including special needs or requests, to the kitchen and check completed kitchen orders against the original order.
• Deliver items to the guest table in a timely manner and make yourself available to guests, clients and group contacts.
• Train, motivate and supervise food servers, recommending discipline where needed, so that all cultural and core standards are met.
• Assist with administrative duties such as closing banquet checks and preparing supply requisitions.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken Korean is mandatory.
• Ability to work with written and spoken English is preferred.
• Valid work authorization in South Korea is required.
• Preferred: college degree, preferably in hotel or restaurant management, and minimum three years of food service or related work, with previous supervisory or lead experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Knowledge of cost control, labour control, maintenance, merchandising and accounting.
