Associate Finance Manager (Contractor)

About the role

The Associate Finance Manager will provide hands‑on financial support for multi‑year operational and transformation initiatives within Janssen Vaccines. This individual contributor role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure financial readiness, transparency and strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end financial execution of a multi‑year corporate transformation project, aligning financial activities with project milestones.
• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating discussions and issue resolution on project financial matters.
• Monitor and track project plans, highlighting risks, dependencies and gaps, and support corrective actions.
• Provide financial support across cost tracking, forecasting, accruals and ad‑hoc analysis for decision‑making.
• Coordinate with Audit, Tax and governance teams to ensure compliance with statutory, tax and internal control requirements, including SOX and intercompany cross‑charges.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, project controlling or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all management levels.
