Associate Finance Manager (Contractor)

About the role

The Associate Finance Manager will provide hands‑on financial support for complex, multi‑year operational and transformation initiatives within Janssen Vaccines. This individual contributor role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure financial readiness, transparency, and strong governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end financial execution of a multi‑year corporate transformation project, aligning financial activities with project milestones.
• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating discussions, alignment and issue resolution on project financial matters.
• Monitor and track project plans, identify risks, dependencies and gaps, and support corrective actions.
• Provide cost tracking, forecasting, accruals and ad‑hoc analysis for decision‑making.
• Coordinate with Audit, Tax and governance teams to ensure compliance with statutory, tax and internal control requirements.
• Manage intercompany cross‑charges, including validation, reconciliation and coordination with counterpart entities.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, project controlling or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all management levels.
• Strong analytical mindset, flexibility and dedication in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
