Area Sales Manager - Logistics

About the role

UPS is hiring an Area Sales Manager in Seoul (Yongdupo-gu) for its logistics business. This full-time permanent position involves developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and market presence in the assigned territory, while building strong relationships with key accounts and coaching the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand UPS's market presence in the assigned territory.
• Pursue new business through prospecting, networking and lead generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing and customer service teams to deliver services and satisfy customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer feedback to find growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and handle contract negotiations.
• Forecast sales, track progress against targets and report regularly to management.
• Coach and mentor sales team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in international express, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts, able to explain UPS's value proposition.
• Demonstrated leadership in leading and motivating a sales team.

Required skills

• Analytical approach to sales data and decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.
