Senior Clinical Project Manager

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager in Seoul. The role leads the Study Management Team (SMT) and oversees end-to-end clinical trial delivery, from feasibility and site selection through trial execution, database lock and close-out, working closely with the Trial Delivery Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Study Management Team and oversee end-to-end clinical trial delivery, including feasibility, site selection, study start-up, execution, database lock and close-out.
• Collaborate with CROs, country teams and global vendors (Central Lab, IWRS/IVRS, ePRO) and with physicians, data managers and supply managers to resolve issues and manage escalations.
• Own study timelines, enrollment, budgets, documentation, inspection readiness, CAPA management and GCP compliance.
• Advanced-level candidates may lead complex global programs and coach and mentor other TDMs.
• Manage a team of TDMs across projects and programs, on both insourced and outsourced studies.
• Take on additional responsibilities such as Champion or Therapeutic Area Expert, and handle more complex assignments with greater business impact.

Required profile

• 8 years of clinical trial management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
• 3-4 years of global project management experience.
• Experience in a specific therapeutic area.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve budget issues with key stakeholders.
