About the role
Braze is looking for a highly experienced Sales Director to lead its Enterprise and Commercial sales teams in South Korea. The role is responsible for driving the Enterprise Direct business, collaborating with resellers, and expanding Braze’s presence across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic customer acquisition plan focused on large enterprises.
- Own direct sales activities while partnering closely with reseller channels.
- Implement partner management programs to maximize reseller contribution.
- Work with finance and leadership to produce accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
- Support Braze’s expansion into APAC markets.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Executives to deliver a unified go‑to‑market vision.
- Manage overall sales and go‑to‑market strategy, providing reliable forecasts.
- Recruit, develop, and performance‑manage a high‑performing sales team.
- Represent the sales organization within senior leadership.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of SaaS sales experience, with a strong record of exceeding quotas.
- At least 8 years of experience leading sales teams, preferably in marketing technology.
- Deep knowledge of the South Korean technology landscape and market dynamics.
- Strategic perspective on investment priorities and proven ability to launch in developing markets.
- Experience with direct, reseller, and co‑sell sales models.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing enterprise sales organizations.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
