Process Engineer – Hwaseong Plant

About the role

3M is seeking a Process Engineer for its Hwaseong plant. The role focuses on improving product cost, service, quality, safety, health and environmental impact while applying statistical techniques to monitor and enhance manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, health and environmental impact.
• Apply statistical methods to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
• Lead technical activities for new or improved products and processes with significant business impact.
• Plan and execute projects aligned with business needs.
• Document technical work as required by the business unit.
• Collaborate across divisions and develop a network of resources to complete assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0‑5 years of relevant experience (new graduates or 2‑5 years of related experience are welcome).
• Fluency in written and spoken English for communication with global stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and with global teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel functionality.
• Experience using CAD tools.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
