Pipeline Clinical Science Manager – Immunology

About the role

The Pipeline Clinical Science Manager (CSM) in Immunology will act as a scientific liaison between AbbVie and investigators at clinical sites in South Korea. Reporting to the Therapeutic Area Head, Immunology, the role supports the conduct of phase 1‑3 trials for AbbVie’s pipeline assets while providing non‑promotional scientific information.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with investigators and key opinion leaders to facilitate AbbVie‑led interventional trials.
• Partner with Site Management & Monitoring teams to assess site feasibility, engage sites, train staff and address recruitment challenges.
• Deliver credible scientific presentations on disease areas and AbbVie pipeline assets to investigators and at conferences.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for R&D collaborations and support external thought‑leader initiatives such as advisory boards.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent) in a relevant biomedical or life‑science discipline.
• Significant experience in clinical research, preferably within immunology or related therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific data in a non‑promotional manner.
