Officer, Payments and Cash Operations

About the role

The Officer, Payments and Cash Operations supports the processing and supervision of market‑related payment and cash transactions for ANZ's Institutional Banking division. Based in Seoul, the role ensures timely, accurate handling of payments while complying with group policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process payment and cash transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Support team members with daily payment, cash and markets transactions, including settlements, confirmations, and fund follow‑ups.
• Prepare and file transaction confirmations and related documentation.
• Conduct internal checks and reconcile GL and suspense accounts according to group standards.
• Update data and rating figures for management reporting.
• Maintain and update Markets Operations procedures to reflect regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Set up new customers, counterparties and settlement instructions.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal and external clients.

Required profile

• At least one year of banking experience in payments and cash operations.
• Strong knowledge of payment and cash products and local regulatory environment.
• Experience with SWIFT and local payment systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
