Accountant / Senior Accountant – South Korea

About the role

We are hiring an Accountant or Senior Accountant for our South Korea market, reporting to the Regional Controller. The role involves owning day‑to‑day accounting operations and contributing to the finance function of a fast‑growing global business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger, maintain and reconcile the full set of financial statements, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and IFRS accounting principles.
• Coordinate with the local Tax Analyst, identify process improvements, and promote collaboration across internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong technical expertise and commercial judgment.
• Fluent in Korean and English, with deep understanding of South Korea’s accounting practices and regulatory environment.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating across time zones.

What we offer

• Salary: HK$420,000 – HK$600,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
