Mechanical Engineer (Manager Level)

About the role

JLL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer at a manager (과장급) level to lead mechanical system design and coordination for projects based in Seongnam, Korea. The role involves on‑site work, including client office visits and construction support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with JLL PDS and multidisciplinary teams on mechanical system design and coordination.
• Manage interfaces between building mechanical systems and process equipment.
• Review design documents, technical specifications, and contractor submittals.
• Oversee HVAC, gas, cleanroom environmental, cooling, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and RFI responses.
• Support and oversee commissioning activities to ensure system reliability and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks from design through project handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical equipment management.
• Possession of relevant mechanical or HVAC/refrigeration certifications is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Experience with cleanroom construction or maintenance is a plus.

Required skills

• HVAC system design and coordination.
• CAD software proficiency.

• Understanding of plumbing and fire protection systems.
