LCL Operations Agent, Korea

About the role

The KR LCL Operations Agent executes and manages end-to-end Less-than-Container Load (LCL) export and import operations within the Maersk network. The role ensures operational excellence, data accuracy, cost control and smooth coordination among customers, vendors, gateways and internal stakeholders to support efficient cargo movement and a high-quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end LCL export and import shipment operations.
• Review and manage shipping documentation, including House Bills of Lading (HBL), commercial invoices, packing lists and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate system data and update milestones on time throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Monitor and correct booking, cargo and shipment information to keep data quality and compliance high.
• Manage CFS (Container Freight Station) inbound and outbound activities and shipment tracking.
• Review and validate vendor invoices, operational costs and billing information.
• Coordinate with CFS operators, truckers, gateways, carriers, overseas offices and internal stakeholders to keep cargo flowing smoothly.
• Communicate shipment status, schedule changes and exceptions proactively to customers and internal teams.
• Support issue resolution by identifying risks, escalating exceptions and driving corrective actions.
• Take part in operational meetings, process improvement initiatives and business projects as required.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain or transportation operations.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and international logistics processes.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication skills in both Korean and English.
