Forward Deployed Engineer – Infrastructure Specialist (Seoul)

About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how enterprises harness AI in real‑world applications, acting as the bridge between Cohere's North platform and client engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of North in private‑cloud and on‑premises environments, from planning through rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements and data‑management practices.
• Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs while ensuring compliance with data‑privacy and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment‑related technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Experiment at high velocity with a strong focus on quality to exceed customer expectations.

Required profile

• Experience working directly with customers on enterprise software deployments.
• Background deploying solutions in private or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven experience administering production Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking and virtualization.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, changing environments.
• Fluent Korean and business‑level English.
