Customer Engineer (PDC VeritySEM)

About the role

The Customer Engineer will act as the primary liaison with customers, installing, maintaining, and upgrading semiconductor equipment. This position involves troubleshooting using digital analytics and performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on complex systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment, collaborating with senior engineers and customers.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and high service quality.

Required profile

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4‑7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.

Required skills

• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and thermodynamics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, digital multimeters, and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
