Content Localization Specialist – Korean & Simplified Chinese

About the role

We are looking for a talented multilingual superstar (Korean/Simplified Chinese/English) with a background in translation and localization. The primary focus is to localize in‑app learning and marketing content for the Korean market, while also creating high‑quality Simplified Chinese materials for Korean learners.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localize Korean‑Simplified Chinese content for in‑app learning and marketing, ensuring pedagogical accuracy.
• Design and write in‑app learning materials (lesson scripts, activities, vocabulary lists) for Korean learners at various proficiency levels.
• Support content‑related projects such as uploading scripts, QAing lessons, and coordinating operations under manager guidance.
• Communicate clearly with international team members, follow manager directions, and maintain end‑to‑end project communication.

Required profile

• Native Simplified Chinese with native or near‑native English writing and speaking skills.
• Deep understanding of both languages and the current state of Simplified Chinese learning in Korea.
• Proven experience in Korean‑Simplified Chinese translation and localization.
• Background in Simplified Chinese teaching, language pedagogy, or curriculum design.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and passion for technology‑assisted language learning.

Required skills

• Experience using AI tools (e.g., large language models, content generators).
• Familiarity with educational technology (EdTech) platforms.
