Content Localization Specialist – Japanese/Korean

About the role

We are seeking a multilingual specialist fluent in Japanese, Korean and English to localize in‑app learning and marketing content for the Japanese market and to create high‑quality Korean content under the guidance of the manager.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localize Japanese‑Korean content for in‑app learning and marketing materials, ensuring pedagogical quality.
• Iterate and polish translated content based on QA feedback to optimize the learning experience.
• Design and write in‑app learning materials such as lesson scripts, activities, and vocabulary lists for Korean learners.
• Support content‑related projects, including uploading scripts, QAing lessons, and coordinating operations.
• Communicate effectively with international team members, follow manager directions, and maintain clear end‑to‑end communication.

Required profile

• Native Japanese and native or near‑native Korean writing and speaking skills.
• Deep understanding of both languages and the status of Korean learning in Japan.
• Proven experience in Japanese‑Korean translation and localization.
• Background in Korean teaching, language pedagogy, or curriculum design.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and passion for technology‑assisted language learning.
