Consultant, Health Sciences / Product Stewardship / Regulatory Affairs

About the role

Ramboll's Health Science Spearhead team in Korea, part of the Environment and Health Business Unit, is looking for a Consultant to support subject matter experts on industrial chemical, agrochemical and biocidal regulatory approvals in the Republic of Korea. The role reports to the Principal, Health Sciences, is based in South Korea and may also cover other Asia Pacific countries. It suits someone at the start of their career or with several years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of Product Stewardship and Safety projects, focusing on K-BPR and pesticide regulation
• Act as a team member on interdisciplinary and international regulatory projects
• Advise clients on existing and upcoming regulatory obligations in environmental, health and safety topics, with the support of the Project Manager
• Help prepare and submit client proposals
• Act as the interface between the Korean client and international Ramboll colleagues
• Work closely with the international team within Ramboll Health Science Spearhead
• Support the Project Manager on administrative and financial project tasks

Required profile

• Higher education in a science field such as chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biology, (eco)-toxicology or environmental science
• 1 to 5 years of experience in consulting, chemical, biocide or pesticide regulations, K-OSHA, food or pharma regulations
• Fluent Korean and English (additional languages are a plus)
• Previous experience in an international and multicultural organisation
• Willingness to travel on a limited basis

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Comfort working on a virtual team with stakeholders across geographies
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
