Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) - Azure & Kubernetes

About the role

Beyondsoft, a mid-sized business IT and consulting company with offices across four continents, is looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect. This is a customer-facing, delivery-focused technical role helping enterprise customers design, deploy, modernize, govern, automate and operate Azure environments at scale. Candidates must combine solid architecture capability with practical delivery experience and be comfortable working directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize enterprise Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, load balancers, firewalls, ExpressRoute, backup, site recovery, monitoring and hybrid scenarios.
• Design, deploy and troubleshoot Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments and support cloud-native modernization.
• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI and PowerShell, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub, automate deployment and release, and help customers adopt secure platform engineering practices.
• Set up Azure governance with Landing Zones, Management Groups, Azure Policy, RBAC, tagging and cost management, applying the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
• Act as a technical advisor: run workshops and architecture reviews, troubleshoot production issues, write documentation and diagrams, and work with Microsoft and customer engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or technical consulting.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure architecture, engineering or delivery experience.
• Proven experience delivering technical solutions to enterprise customers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills; strong professional English.

Required skills

• Azure infrastructure, AKS/Kubernetes, Terraform and/or Bicep, Azure DevOps, Azure governance (Landing Zone, Policy, RBAC).
• Nice to have: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure Arc, Linux, Windows Server, Hyper-V, FinOps, and certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-400, CKSA/CKAD.
