Associate Network Engineer

About the role

Peraton is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support United States Forces Korea. The role involves designing, planning, and maintaining network communications systems that enable secure operations across the Korean peninsula.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan network communications systems and produce detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet current and future capacity needs.
• Test network designs and monitor hardware operations to ensure proper configuration.
• Plan and implement network enhancements, upgrades, and advise users on hardware requirements and limitations.
• Maintain expertise in routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways and evaluate emerging communication technologies.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree or four years of relevant experience.
• CCNA certification.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Invited Contractor status under the ROK/US SOFA.
• Active Secret clearance.
