Assistant or Associate Professor of Business Innovation

About the role

Taejae University, a teaching-focused university in Seoul, is recruiting two full-time faculty members for its Business Innovation Program at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The positions are non-tenure-track, renewable three-year appointments, with teaching starting in March 2027. All courses are delivered in English through an interactive online format, so faculty can teach from anywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities

• Teach four-credit undergraduate courses in the Business Innovation Program, with a standard load of three courses per semester (3-3).
• Deliver interactive courses using active-learning pedagogies, designing learning experiences, materials, assignments and assessments.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Business Innovation curriculum.
• Advise senior capstone projects and mentor students in their academic development.
• Take part in faculty workshops, professional learning, and academic and administrative committees.

Required profile

• A PhD in business or another relevant field, or having advanced to PhD candidacy by the time of application.
• Strong teaching ability and scholarly or professional expertise in at least one of the listed specializations.
• Preferred: undergraduate teaching experience, experience supervising student research and experiential learning, and experience designing curricula and course materials.
