Accounting Manager

About the role

Sika Korea Ltd., the Korean subsidiary of Sika AG, is hiring an Accounting Manager in Seoul. The role covers costing and financial analysis, master data governance and SAP administration, inventory and operational support, and general accounting and financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product costing for new and existing item codes, perform cost analysis, variance analysis and cost roll-ups, and support month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting and cost reviews
• Provide cost information and estimates to support business decisions
• Manage material master data through the MDG portal and SAP, monitor item code workflows and resolve cross-functional master data issues
• Maintain SAP material configurations (MRP, stock transfer, business unit settings)
• Support inventory management, stock verification and inventory reporting, and take part in product portfolio reviews and item rationalization
• Manage the general ledger, process accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, prepare financial reports and support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements, and partner with cross-functional teams on process improvements and special projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, costing or related functions
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and internal controls
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
