SW Engineer in Architecture and Networking Solutions (Telematics)

About the role

The Software Engineer will design and develop telematics architecture and networking solutions for connected vehicles. You will translate functional requirements into detailed designs, implement robust embedded software, and ensure high‑quality validation and testing of telematics functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze telematics specifications and functional requirements to define system architecture.
• Develop detailed design documents for telematics modules and implement software according to those designs.
• Create and execute validation plans, perform testing, and verify telematics functionality.
• Identify change requirements, update telematics components, and lead documentation efforts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in Linux and embedded software development.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced programming in C and C++.
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, Jira, and CI/CT tools.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of telematics system development and networking devices such as IoT devices, routers, and mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm mobile platforms and wireless communication protocols (3G/4G/5G).
• Strong debugging abilities and understanding of software engineering principles and design frameworks.
