Policy Manager – Korea

About the role

The Public Policy Manager for Korea will design and execute policy campaigns that advance Airbnb’s interests, working closely with government officials, regulators, and community stakeholders to shape a fair home‑sharing regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Airbnb’s legislative and public policy objectives, defining advocacy priorities and strategies.
• Review legislative language, draft comments and provide analysis on bills affecting the business.
• Maintain relationships with local, regional and national government offices, allied groups and coalition partners.
• Represent Airbnb in meetings with elected officials, industry associations, hosts and other stakeholders.
• Manage consultants and agencies that support campaign plans.
• Produce concise briefing materials, meeting readouts and leadership updates.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience working on policy, legislative or regulatory issues.
• Background in the National Assembly, central government or equivalent policy‑facing role (preferred).
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
