IT Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Gangnam. The role involves providing on‑site and remote support for Windows and Mac workstations, ensuring hardware and software reliability for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain IT hardware inventory in ServiceNow and manage asset tracking.
• Provide deskside support for Windows PCs, including software installation, patch management and driver updates.
• Install, upgrade and repair EUC equipment such as desktops, laptops, monitors and peripherals.
• Support network printers and scanners – configuration, IP addressing, TCP/IP output and warranty break/fix.
• Escalate and resolve application issues for in‑house, third‑party and market‑data applications.
• Assist users with home‑office setups, including personal laptops, virtual machines and connectivity.
• Record all incidents and requests in the ticket‑tracking system and communicate trends to management.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours and weekend support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of deskside support experience with Windows PCs.
• Experience handling inventory, shipping and receiving of spare hardware.
• Proven ability to perform software and hardware break/fix tasks.
• CompTIA A+ certification (required or preferred).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to follow policies and procedures.
