HRSG Auxiliary Equipment Engineer

About the role

The HRSG Auxiliary Equipment Engineer will specify, select, and review auxiliary equipment for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) such as emissions control catalysts, duct burners, safety valves, acoustic control devices, and pumps. You will join an international team supporting customers of combined‑cycle power plants and work closely with other HRSG engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, select, and review third‑party HRSG auxiliary equipment to meet customer and company requirements.
• Work across technical areas including noise control, emissions control, fluid/thermal processes, pressure vessels, and pumps.
• Take a holistic approach to HRSG design to optimise overall equipment selection.
• Collaborate with Performance, Piping, I&C, and Structural Engineers to choose the optimum equipment.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in HRSG auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate equipment across multiple technical domains.
• Strong teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
