V.I.E Automation Vendor Package Engineer – 24 months

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a V.I.E Automation Vendor Package Engineer to join the on‑site Field Engineering team for a major FLNG unit being built in a South Korean shipyard. This 24‑month fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience with Emerson equipment, multidisciplinary coordination, and exposure to offshore construction in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and track Field Material Requisitions (FMRs) and Vendor Mobilization Requests (VMRs) for Emerson equipment.
• Support weekly MAV follow‑up meetings, record actions, and monitor schedule, resources, and contractual matters.
• Oversee the MER (Material Evaluation Report) and IMR (Inspection & Maintenance Report) cycles from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate with the Instrumentation Field Engineering Lead on site modifications and ensure proper transfer of engineering documents.
• Assist the FE Manager in drafting formal correspondence for the contracts team.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2+ years of experience in a workshop, manufacturing or construction setting.
• Strong initiative, teamwork spirit and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Fluent English; French or other European language is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Emerson automation equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and field engineering processes.
