Vendor Manager / Recruiter (Korean & English)

About the role

The Vendor Manager (Vendor Recruiter) will act as the main liaison between Production, Sales and external language service providers. You will ensure a robust vendor pool, drive recruitment, certification and optimal usage of certified vendors for our localization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to forecast resourcing needs and communicate progress.
• Monitor vendor usage, quality performance and identify replacement requirements.
• Provide on‑the‑job support to the Vendor Management team.
• Research market conditions, trends and competitive rates in the localization industry.
• Search for, evaluate and recruit new vendors using translation directories and sourcing tools.
• Test and onboard vendors according to documented processes and platforms.
• Negotiate preferred rates and propose rate‑negotiation strategies to Production.
• Promote newly onboarded vendors to Production and internal linguist teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with contract vendors, Production staff and global internal teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and represent the team at industry events.

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and large data sets accurately.
• Strong negotiation and time‑management capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication in Korean (native) and English.
• Proactive problem‑solving and interpersonal skills in a public‑facing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in vendor management or a related role.
