UI Designer - AI Neobank App

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a UI Designer to craft intuitive, elegant and high-performing interfaces for its AI and financial products. The designer works closely with product managers and engineers to create mobile-first experiences that make complex financial products feel simple, trustworthy and enjoyable. The role is remote, but candidates must be based in South Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Design polished, user-centric interfaces for mobile and web products.
• Turn product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI.
• Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments and other financial services.
• Maintain and evolve BJAK's design system to keep consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementation.
• Iterate designs using user feedback, analytics and usability testing.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness and visual consistency across devices and platforms.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile apps.
• Strong portfolio showing visual design, interaction design and UI craftsmanship; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Good understanding of UX principles, information architecture and user-centred design.
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys and to explain the rationale behind design choices.
• Strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping and modern design workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile-first design, iOS and Android guidelines and responsive layouts.
• Design tools listed: Figma, FigJam, design systems, interactive prototyping, auto layout and components, design tokens.
