Technical Business Development Manager - DNA Applications

About the role

A biotechnology company with more than 30 years of experience is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager for its DNA (PN, PDRN) product range, including Sodium DNA, PN and PDRN. The role is based in Korea and combines equal parts technical expertise and business development, acting as a technical reference and product advocate to strengthen the company's market presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on the DNA (PN, PDRN) portfolio, giving clients technical support and guidance
• Drive business development to capture market opportunities in APAC, with a focus on Korea and China
• Manage distributor relationships and provide technical support to ensure strong market presence and customer satisfaction
• Influence product development by aligning R&D with market demand and technological advances
• Carry out market intelligence on industry trends, customer needs and competitors
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders across cultures and regions, and lead cross-functional projects

Required profile

• Minimum 10-15 years of specialized experience in biotech, focused on DNA (PN, PDRN) products
• At least 5 years in sales, marketing or product management in biotech
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related field; Master's or PhD highly advantageous
• Fluency in English and Korean; Chinese is a plus
• Willingness to travel within Asia-Pacific as needed

• Excellent communication skills, able to report clearly to senior management
