System Test Engineer - CVC and ZCU

About the role

AUMOVIO Korea is looking for a System Test Engineer for its Central Vehicle Controller (CVC) and Zone Control Unit (ZCU) projects within Architecture and Network Solutions. The role covers designing validation strategies and executing system integration and validation tests for these vehicle control platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop system validation strategies, test methods and test concepts based on system architecture and requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and execute system integration and validation activities for CVC and ZCU platforms.
• Analyse system behaviour through HW/SW integration testing and identify root causes of system issues.
• Perform failure analysis and debugging using schematic reviews, measurement tools, communication traces and log analysis.
• Collaborate with System, HW and SW teams to verify functionality and system performance.
• Maintain test specifications, test reports and validation documentation according to development processes.
• Support customer discussions and technical investigations on system integration and validation topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read and analyse HW schematics and understand electronic circuit behaviour.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with system-level thinking.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HW components such as MCU, PMIC, SBC, Ethernet, CAN/LIN, memory and power management devices is preferred.
• Experience in HW failure analysis and debugging with oscilloscopes, CAN/Ethernet analysis tools, log analysis and measurement equipment.
• Good understanding of SW architecture, functional behaviour, logic flow and state machine concepts.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN and Ethernet is preferred.
