SW Technical Project Lead - CVC and ZCU (AUTOSAR)

About the role

AUMOVIO Korea is looking for a SW Technical Project Lead for CVC (Central Vehicle Controller) and ZCU (Zone Control Unit) projects within architecture and network solutions. The role plans and manages software development schedules, deliverables and resources, and coordinates AUTOSAR-based software development and integration across BSW, RTE, OS, middleware, application software and hardware interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage software development schedules, deliverables and resources for CVC and ZCU projects
• Coordinate AUTOSAR-based software development and integration across BSW, RTE, OS, middleware, application software and hardware interfaces
• Lead software integration and release planning in line with system, hardware and vehicle development milestones
• Track software maturity, KPIs, defects and integration status, and drive issue resolution across teams
• Manage software risks, dependencies, change requests and technical escalations
• Coordinate software interfaces and dependencies among internal teams, customers and external software suppliers
• Prepare software for prototype builds, vehicle integration milestones and SOP, keeping requirements, testing and releases traceable
• Act as technical interface between Software, System, Hardware and Vehicle Integration teams

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Experience in embedded automotive software development and/or technical project management
• Strong understanding of automotive embedded software architecture and stacks (BSW, RTE, OS, middleware, application interfaces)
• Experience coordinating software integration, release planning, defect resolution and software maturity tracking
• Understanding of the ECU software development lifecycle, from requirements to release
• Ability to analyse technical dependencies across software, hardware, system and vehicle integration
• Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of AUTOSAR, preferably Classic AUTOSAR
• Knowledge of CI/CD and software configuration/release management
• Preferred: CVC, ZCU, Gateway, Body or other zone controller projects
• Preferred: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434
• Preferred: Jira, requirements management tools and CI pipelines
