Senior Network Engineer – USPACOM J6 (Osan, South Korea)

About the role

GDIT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support USPACOM J6 MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering at Osan Air Base, South Korea. You will help modernize enterprise IT capabilities, ensure secure integration, and strengthen mission‑partner interoperability across the Pacific theater.

Key responsibilities

• Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering.
• Translate operational and mission‑partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission‑partner teams.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in network engineering or a B.S. in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, technical writing, and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
