Senior Medical Science Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Oncology) will build scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, understand unmet medical needs, and serve as a field‑based communication channel for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals to identify scientific needs, provide clinical support, and share balanced scientific information.
• Plan and execute external medical activities such as scientific meetings, advisory boards, and investigator‑initiated studies, and report findings to internal stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison for external investigators, supporting clinical trial site identification, issue resolution, and participation in meetings.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a relevant science field (PhD, MD, PharmD preferred) with at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong background in oncology, especially lung cancer, and solid understanding of local regulatory policies and industry codes.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with research methodologies, clinical trial design, and scientific data interpretation.
